Harvey Barnes joins Newcastle

Newcastle have agreed on a £38m fee with Leicester City for Harvey Barnes, who is now the likely replacement for Allan Saint-Maximin.

Meanwhile, Saint-Maximin is nearing a transfer to Saudi Arabia with Al Ahli, which could net Newcastle up to £40m. 

Newcastle have been working on a deal for Barnes since the start of the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old was Leicester’s top scorer last season with 13 goals in 34 Premier League appearances.
