Sadio Mane joins Cristiano Ronaldo at Saudi side Al-Nassr

Al-Nassr sign Sadio Mane from Bayern Munich on four-year deal

The 31-year-old has signed in on a four-year contract. He is set to become the highest-paid African footballer yet.

He will earn more than £34m per year tax-free playing for Al Nassr with a wage equivalent to more than £650,000 per week; the 31-year-old will play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League.

“Leaving FC Bayern hurts me. I would have wished for a different ending. I know that I could have helped the team this season. I wanted to prove it to everyone this season. Nevertheless, I only wish the club and the fans the best for the future.“ 

In his six years at Anfield, he won the Premier League, the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. He definitely is a force to be reckoned with.
