Eduardo Camavinga signs a new deal at Real Madrid until 2028

Real Madrid midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga, has signed a new contract until 2028 with €1bn release clause.

At just 20 years of age, the protege has a long career ahead of him and Real Madrid hope to keep him at Santiago Bernabeu for most of it.
Camavinga’s current contract runs until the summer of 2027. Despite having over three years remain, the club wish to avoid any chance of losing the player and have been working hard towards a renewal.

In addition to the extended duration, Real Madrid have also offered Camavinga improved wages and a larger release clause which now stands at €1 billion.

So far this season, the 20-year-old has played a part in all nine of Real Madrid’s games and started in seven of them. He averages 1.2 successful dribbles, over ten defensive actions and one key pass per game.

While he has primarily operated as a midfielder this season, Ancelotti has called him up occasionally to operate at left-back. His versatility, thus, is a boon to the manager’s plans.

The 20-year-old midfielder has established himself as an integral part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans and has featured in 11 matches so far this season racking up 645 minutes.
