Eden Hazard back on the football pitch just days after announcing retirement.
The Belgian was back in action just days after announcing his retirement last week.
He admitted “you must listen to yourself and say stop at the right time” as he confirmed his career was over.
However, he made a return on Wednesday as he played in a charity match in France.
The 32-year-old scored and provided an assist for Le Varietes Club de France against Team Calais.
The match raised roughly £12,900 for a charity helping children and teenagers in hospital called Pieces Jaunes (Yellow Pieces).
Hazard followed up on his decision to retire last week by suggesting he was not enjoying football anymore.
‘I always said that I would stop playing as soon as I no longer had fun on the field,’ he said.
He ended his 16-year career after 622 club appearances for Lille, Chelsea and Real Madrid, scoring 167 goals and adding 157 assists.
Hazard also won 15 major trophies, including five league titles and the Champions League.
