United took on Everton on Sunday at a raucous Goodison Park, with the home fans in full voice after the club was controversially docked 10 points for breaching the PL’s financial rules.
But the crowd was quickly silenced after Garnacho opened the scoring just three minutes into the match with a spectacular overhead kick from the edge of the box.
The Argentine unleashed a sensational bicycle kick to open the scoring.
Scoring any bicycle kick is extremely difficult, but the 19-year-old’s goal was on another level. Moving away from the goal, Garnacho had to quickly contort his body and connect from nearly the top of the box.
The accuracy was sublime, flying into the corner past Jordan Pickford’s dive.
There were plenty of reactions on social media to Garnacho’s stunner, including some inevitable comparisons to Wayne Rooney’s iconic bicycle kick against Manchester City in 2011.
