Manchester United have issued an update on the progress of midfielder Casemiro’s recovery from injury.
The official social media accounts of the club shared a photo of the 31-year-old back on the training field. While his teammates were engaged in a recovery session, Casemiro trained alone on Sunday.

Since Manchester United’s defeat to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup third round at Old Trafford on November 1, Casemiro has been unavailable for selection. The exact timeline for his return was announced in Erik Ten Hag’s press conference earlier today.
In their final group stage match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night, Manchester United’s chances of advancing to the knockout phase are not entirely within their control but still possible.
