Following their 3-1 triumph over Brentford, Michael Olise sustained a hamstring injury, the severity of which remains unspecified.
This setback comes after Olise had already been ruled out due to a previous hamstring issue he suffered during the summer.

Unfortunately, he experienced another flare-up in his hamstring during the game and will be absent for at least the upcoming FA Cup match. Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson was unable to provide an estimated timeframe for Olise’s return.
Despite this disappointment, Hodgson assured that Olise is coping well with the setback. He stated, “He’s in good spirits. Hopefully, this injury won’t keep him out of action for as long as his previous one that kept him sidelined for nearly six months.” Both Olise and the team are disappointed by his absence but remain optimistic about what lies ahead.
