Arsenal will announce two new signings in the coming days

Jurien Timber and Declan Rice to be officially announced ahead of pre-season training

Arsenal will announce the double signing of Declan Rice and Jürrien Timber next week as their summer spending surpasses £200m. Rice has already undergone his media duties and completed his medical. He will join for a fee of £105m, while Timber arrives for around £40m.

Jurrien Timber has been spotted at Ajax for their friendly against FC Den Bosch on Saturday, but wasn’t involved with the squad at all. It comes as the defender is preparing a move away from the Eredivisie side in the coming days, with a switch to Arsenal currently lined up.

The Dutch international looks set to be the second or third signing of the summer as Kai Havertz has already been confirmed. Declan Rice could be announced first or second to Timber’s deal, with the West Ham midfielder readying a club-record £105million switch.
