In a dominant display, Arsenal secured their seventh consecutive victory in the Premier League by comfortably dispatching a woeful Sheffield United team at Bramall Lane.
Within the first 13 minutes of the game, the Gunners found themselves three goals ahead and went into half-time with an impressive five-goal lead over their opponents who currently sit at the bottom of the league standings.
Contributions from Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, and Ben White – along with an unfortunate own goal from Jayden Bogle – ensured a comprehensive win for Mikel Arteta’s squad.

This triumph has positioned Arsenal just two points behind league leaders Liverpool. It also keeps them firmly in contention for this season’s title race. In stark contrast to Arsenal’s success, Sheffield United find themselves stranded 11 points away from safety with only 11 matches remaining.
Arsenal wasted no time in getting on the scoresheet as they opened their account after just five minutes of play. The manner in which they scored was not surprising given their dominance throughout; carving open United’s defense on the left flank before providing an unmarked Odegaard with a simple finish from ten yards out.
The Gunners swiftly doubled their advantage in spectacular fashion during the 13th minute. Bukayo Saka’s low cross took a wicked deflection off Bogle and ended up nestled inside his own net after bouncing off his ankle amidst some confusion.
Just moments later, Martinelli further extended Arsenal’s lead when he fired home via another deflection following Jakob Kiwior’s cut back pass.
As supporters once again poured out of Bramall Lane in the first half, Havertz extended the lead to 4-0 by neatly slotting the ball into the bottom corner after receiving a through pass from Martinelli.
Arsenal effortlessly carved through United’s defense, and another impressive sequence of short passes resulted in Rice calmly placing the ball low past an overwhelmed Ivo Grbic on 39 minutes.
The away team did not show any signs of letting up after halftime, as they executed yet another well-coordinated attack that culminated in right-back White unleashing a powerful left-footed shot past Grbic.
The Gunners have achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first English league team to win three consecutive away games with a margin of five or more goals. Meanwhile, United is facing dire straits as they are now officially the first English league side to lose four consecutive home games across all competitions while conceding five or more goals.
