Dragusin set for Tottenham medical, snubs Bayern

Radu Dragusin has made the decision to reject Bayern Munich and instead join Tottenham.

The young centre-back is set to travel to London in the upcoming hours for a medical, which has been scheduled for this afternoon.

In an attempt to secure the signing of Genoa’s defender, Bayern made a last-minute bid, hoping it would outdo Tottenham’s advances.

Tottenham had already struck a deal with Genoa for Radu Dragusin, agreeing on a transfer fee of £25.9m (€30m), including add-ons amounting to £5.6m (€6m) for the Romanian international.

As part of this agreement, Spurs also planned on loaning Djed Spence, one of their own defenders, back to Genoa temporarily.

However, Bayern stepped up their game by presenting an improved offer worth £26.7m (€31m). This forced Radu Dragusin into making a decision regarding which club he wished to play for – and ultimately he chose Tottenham over Bayern Munich.
