Everton vs Bournemouth: 4 home defeats from 4 games

Everton’s recent performance at home in the Premier League has been abysmal, with 13 losses in their last 19 games – a record low for the club.

Their woes continued last Saturday when newly-promoted Luton Town added to this dismal streak, marking the 13th defeat in 19 home games, which stands as their worst run in Premier League history.

Manager Sean Dyche narrowly escaped the ignominy of becoming the first top-division manager to lose his first four home games of the season without scoring a goal, but this offered little solace. Dyche appeared exhausted, drenched in frustration, and devoid of ideas on the touchline.

To compound matters, Everton has now suffered seven defeats at Goodison Park in their last eight home matches and a staggering 12 losses in their last 16.

Even in Carlo Ancelotti’s only full season in charge, when Everton finished just three points shy of a Europa Conference League spot, their home form was unimpressive, ranking 15th in terms of home league points with nine losses.

In the last 45 Premier League games since the beginning of last season, Everton has held more possession in eight matches but has only managed to secure one win, with six losses and one draw to their name.
